Summary

Description This is a corrected and up-to-date version of a now-obsolete diagram originally uploaded by User:Booyabazooka. The original diagram shows a shorter cable, an asteroid for a counterweight, and an incorrectly labeled center of mass. As of June 2012, that original diagram form remains in most of the non-English Space Elevator articles. Each of them should be replaced with this diagram (or any other better one) after suitable language translation.
